Artist's Statement
These ‘constructed’ frames are conceptually conceived and inspired by nature.
By distilling the basic elements of color, texture and line from the landscapes of my world, these abstract canvasses endeavor to portray nature in motion, not as nature appears but as nature feels; unspoken, indescribable and sometimes chaotic
I approach my canvasses as an Architect might attempt a drawing; one line at a time, measuring, removing and repeating to create shapes that work in graphic harmony. Constructed with various colored organic threads, acrylic medium, paint and plaster, my canvasses expresses strong architectural rhythms that create, “Emotional narratives with kinetic energy ”
